Samsung Sch-u740 Usb Drivers For Mac
Sean, I thought you had fixed the USB problem in 10.5 for me, if you remember. My Samsung SCH-U740 shows up as 'Other CDMA' on /dev/ cu.usbmodem1d11, then I go into the the preferences and set it as SCH- U740 so that I can retrieve info from the phone (everything is grayed out under 'Get Phone Data' if I leave it as 'Other CDMA'). I do, however, have to do this everytime I start BitPim. Doesn't seem to hold the setting.

But this is only a minor inconvenience. Besides that most everything else works. I can retrieve SMS messages, as long as they are not larger than 0.1kb and are not MMS or EMS. I also can get the Call Log, PhoneBook and Memos.
Can't get the built-in WallPaper though (maybe the phone has them locked out?). Haven't tried the Calendar, Todo or playlist, only because I don't use those features of the phone.
The only other thing that I have noticed is that all the SMS messages are time stamped with UTC time instead on my local time - East Coast. AR Thread view. I have a LG Scoop (aka AX260) with Alltel and recently got a usb cable for it. Under windows, with the drivers I found here, it works fine and is detected as 'Other CDMA' over the usb cable. On mac however, with the same cable and same version BitPim (1.0.5), it is unable to find it as 'Other CDMA' and under com ports, it only shows a serial bluetooth connection (and my phone doesn't have the BT DIAG mode) and '/dev/cu.usbmodem1d11' which seems like it would be the AX260. It shows up in network connections as a usb modem as well. On windows though, it seemed like it had a usb modem com port as well as a serial com port listed for it. On the mac though, the serial com port for usb doesn't appear to be there.
